Megadungeon.net Goes Live

James Maliszewski of Grognardia is leading the way with a mighty force to create a free, OGL megadungeon on the web.

Megadungeon.net presents the Monastery of St. Gaxyg and the immense dungeon of Urheim lurking beneath. There’s already a framework for material, and contributions are welcome. The campaign-scale dungeon will include five environments: the monastery, ruins, caves, the dungeon itself and catacombs. The site already includes content on the dungeon’s background and rumors surrounding it

Given the upswing in oldschool gaming, the current megadungeon craze and the pay-to-play nature of Monte Cook’s Dungeonaday.com, Megadungeon.net looks like it will have a lot of potential. The OGL basis for Megadungeon.net means that it will be easy for people to browse through the site, see something they particularly like for their own dungeons, and make use of it how they will in their own products.

A project of this nature is kept alive by contributions of time and effort. If you like megadungeons, consider chipping in and lending a hand.
